(Reuters) -A knowledge breach at Toyota Motor (NYSE:)’s Indian enterprise may need uncovered some clients’ private data, it stated on Sunday.
Toyota India stated it has notified the related Indian authorities of the information breach at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a three way partnership with Indian conglomerate Kirloskar Group.
“Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has been notified by one in all its service suppliers of an incident which may have uncovered private data of a few of TKM’s clients on the web”, TKM stated in an emailed assertion with out disclosing the scale of the information breach or variety of clients affected.
An unrelated difficulty at Toyota Motor’s T-Join service probably leaked about 296,000 items of buyer data, it stated final October.
